Publish a Book as a Prime Credential

     As an example of a benefit that the Association can provide, for those who want it we will sponsor books for members.

     A book is the best credential any consultant can have. In order to help new members get a book out quickly and easily, we're adapting a process we've used many times before for other groups, including consulting accountants. This book will focus on leadership/management advice for your prospects and clients. For instance, a title might be Managing Your Organization in Tough Times or Ten Secrets for Successful Leadership. (You can pick your own title.)

     Basically, you write a chapter (about 5000 words) on whatever aspect of leadership/management that you specialize in, or use one particular industry or case as an example of  issues, solutions, etc. that can be generalized to other industries. We then combine 10-15 chapters to create a book. You buy books at about the print on demand cost and use them for marketing and as a product to sell.

     The book will be sponsored by us and we will hold the copyright, which grants us ownership of the material. We grant back to you the right to use your chapter in any way you wish, plus the right to use all the other chapters in a book authored solely by you and published by us. In other words, each author gets their own book with a separate title, ISBN#, bar code, and Amazon listing. Yet you only had to write a fraction of it.
